Midwest-Western Region Sisters of Continental Societies, Incorporated It is with a great sense of anticipation that I greet you as your newly elected Regional Director for program years 2011-2013. As I review the success of the Region over the past few years under the stellar leader of the past two Regional Directors, I see that we are poised and prepared to take this Region to a higher level of program success in meeting the needs of children we serve. This will be accomplished through many factors: Through a chartered path based upon identified needs and goals of the children we serve; through the organization and planning of each chapter in the Region; through a Sisterly support system across state lines; through a cohesive unit of chapters in the Midwest-Western Region; and through the most powerful force in our individual control, a progressive and positive ATTITUDE. “Small but Mighty,” is a mantra that we have worn as a Region since 1993 when we became the Midwest-Western Region. Through our work with underprivileged children in our HEER programs (HEALTH, EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT, RECREATION, ARTS & HUMANITIES) our region provides a window into a life of possibilities for thousands of children, which consistently renews, re-energizes, and sets the tone for our rededication ceremony each program year. With open minds, open hearts, and open spirits, let’s be receptive and open to new ideas and new ways of accomplishing new and innovative projects and activities. Let forge ahead into a future filled with bright promises, and with the support of our National Corporate Sponsor, Colgate Palmolive, the possibilities are endless. See you on the Flight Deck! “Our children, Our Commitment, Our Concern,” Sisterly, Louise W. Davis, Regional Director
