MidWest-Western Region Project List

	African American Read-In The Midwest-Western Region joined forces to meet the challenge of the national initiative, literacy. In February, the region partnered with the Dallas County Community College District and held read-ins across the region. Continentals introduced children and youth to books written by African American authors during black history month.

Asthma Chapters in the region supports asthma, one of our national initiatives by partnering with the American Lung Association, the Environmental Protection Agency and Montana State University. Continentals participated in asthma walks, asthma poster contests and open airways asthma awareness programs.
